MainGUILTY, an incubated company at Moveltex, has won the Speed Up award as part of the Desafios 5.0 project promoted by the Portuguese Business Association (AEP).

The project, co-financed by Compete 2020, represented a total investment of 720 thousand euros through Portugal 2020. According to the organizing entity, more than 200 projects and over 900 participants took part in the initiative. There were over 460 hours of training, 720 hours of mentoring, and 500 hours of business plan consolidation consulting. MainGUILTY, one of the six winners of the award, is a brand of interior furniture design. Their collections are based on the storytelling of their personal experiences and the guilty way they perceive the world.

The brand submitted their piece, Anthea Console, sculpted from cork waste, one of their best-sellers, which was present at the final event. The MainGUILTY entrepreneurs consider this award “the cherry on top of the cake, after a long journey of learning.” They find it very rewarding to see their work recognized, and this prize will help them further invest in internationalization, with MainGUILTY already having a presence confirmed at the Index Hotel Show Riyadh in Saudi Arabia in September.

The prize, worth 5000 euros, was awarded on June 27th during the closing ceremony of the Desafios 5.0 project, which took place in Leça da Palmeira.
